Prague - 2004
Day 2 - May 11
Tescoma, a manufacturer and distributor for kitchenware and a privately owned Czech facility, is probably one of the first examples of Western World capitalism. Started by two wannabe rock stars, this business is emerging as one of the first cross-dock distributors in the country. Although successful in the short-term, this company has advanced by meeting the demands of retail customers. Foreign still is a customer-oriented approach which begins by listening to customers and designing products that satisfy the end-user demands.
