| The Czech Republic is now composed of the regions of Bohemia and Moravia. In earlier times, Celtic tribes occupied the region and were later supplanted by the Czechs. Although somewhat different in origin and tradition, today the terms Bohemian and Czech are often used interchangeably to name the people who live in the Czech Republic. |
