The "typical" Professional MBA student is 36-years old with 12 years of work experience.  This broad-based foundation enhances each student's learning and networking opportunities and allows interaction with others in various industries and at different points across the value change continuum.  They hold positions in areas like sales, marketing, finance, management, information technology and engineering.  They work for organizations in consumer goods, healthcare, manufacturing, pharmaceuticals, paper products, technology development, telecommunications, electronics, marine crafts, national laboratories, and banking.  They carry titles like vice president, project engineer, district manager, international sales engineer, human resources manager, owner, pilot, clinical supervisor, technical analyst, and many more.

But there really is no such thing as a “typical” student in this unique MBA program.  The simple common thread is a willingness to work hard and invest in their career.

Students range in age from late-twenties to mid-fifties with widely varied backgrounds and experience.  Every class is carefully selected to maintain a class size of 40-50 students with a wide range of diversity.  Each student then shares his or her expertise with the class, in addition to the well-qualified experts that make up the faculty.  The result is a graduate degree along with a network of peers and mentors to support graduates throughout their career.

"Participating in the first Professional MBA class, which was populated by the brightest and most capable people I have been associated with, was in itself a challenging and invaluable growth experience. Being selected ‘Class Leader’ by those same individuals achieved a level of personal accomplishment I had not anticipated.”

- Scott Caldwell, regional vice president of sales
