We arrived in Santiago around 9 a.m., checked into our hotel and then headed out for a guided bus tour of the city.  Highlights of the tour included seeing Chile’s national Cathedral, the Presidential Palace and Cerro Santa Lucia, a famous Chilean garden located in the center of the city.  After the tour we had lunch at the Central Market in Santiago and then went shopping in at the FABA Artisan Market.
