We started Thursday with a tour of Farmacetica Alemadia, Chile’s largest pharmaceutical company.  After the tour, we took an hour-long bus ride to the coast to tour the port city of Valparaiso.  We toured the city, went shopping and then ate lunch at Coca Loca, a revolving restaurant atop one of Valparaiso’s tallest buildings.  After lunch we made another short bus trip to the city of Vina del Mar.  Vina del Mar is a resort town with several popular beach spots.  We then headed to the Vina Mar winery located outside the city where we toured the facilities and ate dinner.
